A week-long film project for 14 to 19 year old interested in learning about all aspects of film making and in creating a film based on their personal take on socially relevant issues.
Working with a selected group of participants, you will develop a short film in response to the themes of #Haters, Odd Eyes’ short film based on real events.
You will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of film making from script writing to working behind the camera, understanding sound, as well as acting and directing. The course is taught by professional writers, filmmakers and actors with industry experience.
At the end of the week, your short will be screened at Hoxton Hall in front of an invited audience and followed by Q&A where you will be able to talk about your work. The short will also be made available online for inclusion on your CV.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to learn about film making, gain valuable work experience and make a difference by sharing their own point of view about social issues.
The project is delivered in partnership with Hoxton Hall Youth Arts.
