Inspired by real events, #Haters is a modern tale of identity, opportunity, fate and values. It’s a story of hipsters, roadmen and shape-shifting social media chimeras, and the real people behind these modern stereotypes..

#Haters started as a theatre show created in response to a real incident and grew into a film-making and debate project for schools and communities.

Join us for a screening alongside short films made by young people in Wandsworth and Hackney in response to the original story, followed by a panel discussion and live audience debate hosted by Terry O’Leary, Associate Artist at Cardboard Citizens.

Delivered in partnership with Carney’s Community, Providence House, Hoxton Hall, Cardboard Citizens and young people in Wandsworth and Hackney.

Supported with funding by Arts Council England, Community Fund, Wandsworth Grant Fund, Hackney Community Fund and the generosity of Odd Eyes Theatre’s friends and supporters.
